Our affiliate Knecto partnered with Pelican Water, a consumer water filtration system, to enable their product with NFC, making Pelican Water the first in their industry to adopt the smart technology. Enabling their product allowed Pelican Water to achieve internal supply chain management, and provide a consumer facing experience. Knecto managed the supply chain experience, helping Pelican Water identify and track the product from inception of ID through the distribution cycle. The consumer experience was created to ensure a positive setup of and customer relationship with the system. With that goal in mind, the experience included a product diagram with design descriptions for their Smart-Combo system, various filter options to accommodate any customer need, and videos explaining maintenance, installation and general information on the product. The experience also included a tap to call or text function so customers could instantly connect with a customer service representative. The project included 8,000 enabled units.
